2 weeks & 2 days

Little Jetters' two week birthday has already come and gone! He is growing up so fast already! He is still sleeping quite a bit during the afternoon, but he has been up a little more every day. He seems to be getting more aware of his surroundings. It's funny to watch him look around, he always looks so concerned. The faces he makes are adorable. He loves to pucker his lips & raise his eyebrows. We had a hard night last night, but overall, our nights have been going smoother. The other night he slept from 11:00pm-2:00am & then 2:45AM-6:00am...that was nice! I was shocked when I looked at the clock to see that it was 6:00am, I was expecting it to be 4:00!
It's has been challenging getting used to Austin's new work schedule, but it is nice to have him home on the weekends . Austin & I took a walk to the square yesterday & took Jett in his stroller for the second time. It's nice to finally be able to get out of the house! It was such a pretty day. I'm SO grateful to be in the midst of spring with a new baby-not to hot, not to cold, perfect for afternoon strolls.

This week will be my first week back at school since Jett's birth. I wish I could say I was more excited...
I don't like the idea of leaving baby J for more than a couple of hours. I miss him to much! But on the bright side, I am only a few weeks away from graduation. Woo hoo!!! Then I will have 3 1/2 months of no school! A first in four years!
This weekend we are heading to Augusta for the Masters. Well, I'm not actually going (maybe next year), but I will be hanging out with Jett & Mom at Granny Pat & Grandaddy Neal's house while Matthew, little Austen, & Big Austin enjoy the tournament. Go Tiger!
Sunday will also be Jett's first easter! He's not quite big enough to hunt eggs yet, but maybe he can scoop up a few with a little help from Mommy :)

  1. Hi! Brittany: Granny Pat and I are looking forward to seeing Jett and being with you and Big Austin again. I looked through your site and I can hardly believe all of this has happened so fast. It seems like just yesterday you were at the Thanksgiving table with us and taking a nap on the couch afterwards. Life really does go by so fast. Enjoy every minute of it! Much love to the three of you. Granddaddy Neal and Granny Pat
